How To Live

All must suffer, all must strife,
In this battlefield, we call life.
A constant struggle, day by day.
Everyone is hard up, with bills to pay.
Hard working people, running up debt.
And yet, the one percent, remain content.

Mass deception, crafted lies.
Personal gratification, in disguise.
Instant access, clouds our eyes.

When will all of this will come to an end?

Cause I don’t want to pretend to own, things I can’t afford.
And I don’t want to run around, with things that will make me bored.
I just want to live my life, of my own accord,
Cause I don’t need the latest thing to tell me how to live!

Love of money is all they see!

How to live!

Easy

When I look back on my days I,
Realize the many ways I,
Turned away from what was right,
Hanging out most every night.
Surrounded myself with people,
That I thought were good and humble.
Turns out, it wasn’t so,
And I had to tell them no.
I didn’t fit in that well,
Cause eventually I fell.
I was down and out and such,
And I had to pick myself up to,
Focus on what I had to do,
No matter what I went through.
Stick to the task at hand,
And find myself a band.

And this is why, I want to..
Tell you this..
It’s not about the party, or spending all your money.
It isn’t how you look or what other people think of you.

Think about the life you live,
And the love you want to give.
Be kind to everyone,
Spirit, Father, and the Son, and
Take time to slow things down,
From the daily run around.
Take time to make amends,
To those no longer friends and
Don’t worry all too much,
Things will work out if they must.
And in the end you’ll see,
What a fruitful life can be.

It’s not about the party, or making all that money.

When I first saw you; you were having breakfast with your friend.
You came over and Tova introduced you to the band.
Next time I saw you; you were at that party Halloween.
You and I we talked and we stayed up till 6 am.
